About This Scholarship
The Infosys Science Foundation awards the Infosys Prize to researchers in India making outstanding contributions to engineering and computer science, life sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Each prize carries a gold medal, a citation, and ₹1 million (approximately $12,000). The prize has been awarded annually since 2009 and has recognised work on quantum computing, protein structure, climate modelling, and urban planning. The foundation also administers the Infosys Foundation Scholarship for exceptional students at IITs and IIMs.
