KIPP (Knowledge is Power Programme) is a national network of public charter schools and the KIPP Foundation provides college access support and scholarships for KIPP alumni pursuing higher education. KIPP alumni scholarships provide gap funding of $1,000-$5,000 annually on top of other financial aid for students demonstrating exceptional commitment to their education. KIPP alumni are predominantly first-generation college students and students of colour, and the Foundation's alumni college persistence programmes are nationally recognised for their effectiveness in increasing college completion rates.
