About This Scholarship
The College Art Association and Kress Foundation jointly administer Kress Fellowships for art historians to spend a year conducting research on European art in European collections and institutions. Fellows travel to European museums, archives, and libraries. The programme has supported over 200 fellowships since 1971 and has been transformative for the careers of American art historians.
