RespectAbility is a US nonprofit that works to fight stigmas and advance opportunities for people with disabilities. The RespectAbility Fellowship provides a 10-week professional development programme for emerging leaders with disabilities seeking careers in entertainment, politics, journalism, nonprofit management, and business. Fellows gain access to mentors, career training, leadership development seminars, and networking opportunities in Washington DC and Los Angeles. RespectAbility also offers online fellowship tracks for fellows who cannot relocate. The programme is free to participants and provides a modest living stipend.
