Siemens Stiftung, the charitable foundation of Siemens AG, supports science education and social entrepreneurship through fellowship and scholarship programmes in Germany and internationally. The Siemens Excellence Award recognises outstanding engineering graduates in Germany. The foundation's Empowering People Award provides €50,000 grants for social entrepreneurs developing appropriate technologies for developing country communities.
