The Masayoshi Son Foundation, established by SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, provides fellowships for exceptionally talented young Japanese entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists. Selected fellows receive a stipend of ¥1,000,000 per year plus mentoring from senior technology entrepreneurs. The programme seeks individuals who demonstrate extraordinary intellectual capability, bold vision, and commitment to addressing fundamental challenges facing humanity. The foundation also administers the Son Foundation Global Fellowship supporting young leaders from outside Japan to engage with Japan's technology ecosystem.
