About This Scholarship

The Sustainable Ocean Alliance nurtures the next generation of ocean leaders through its Global Ocean Leaders Programme and Startup Hub. SOA fellowships support young ocean advocates and entrepreneurs aged 18-35 developing solutions to ocean pollution, overfishing, coral reef restoration, and sustainable fisheries. Fellows participate in SOA's annual Youth Summit, receive mentoring from ocean industry leaders, and gain seed funding for prototype development. The programme has a global cohort of over 1,000 ocean leaders from more than 140 countries.
