The US Army Reserve Officers Training Corps scholarship covers full tuition and mandatory fees at over 1,100 participating universities. Recipients also receive an annual textbook stipend of up to $1,200 and a monthly living allowance of $300 to $500. Scholars take Military Science courses on campus and attend a summer leadership training programme. Upon graduation, recipients commission as Second Lieutenants and serve in the Active Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard. The programme is open to all academic majors and values academic achievement, physical fitness, and demonstrated leadership potential.
