World Rugby offers development awards and scholarships to coaches, referees, administrators, and players from emerging rugby nations seeking to raise the standard and reach of the game. The programme funds attendance at World Rugby coaching and refereeing certificate programmes, education at World Rugby's partner universities, and attendance at high-performance training camps. World Rugby's Get Into Rugby programme also funds grassroots development scholarships in regions where the sport is growing, including Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Awards are channelled through national unions affiliated to World Rugby.
