About This Scholarship
WUSC's Student Refugee Programme is one of the world's only refugee resettlement programmes led by students. Each year, Local Committees (LCs) at over 80 Canadian universities sponsor one or more refugee students to come to Canada and attend university for one year. The sponsoring students fundraise, provide support, and welcome the refugee into the campus community.

Refugees referred through UNHCR; young adults 18-26; strong academic history despite displacement; any country of origin
