Berlinale Talents is the international talent development platform of the Berlin International Film Festival, bringing together 200 emerging filmmakers, producers, scriptwriters, editors, and composers from around the world each February. Participants receive full accreditation to the festival, participate in masterclasses and workshops with industry leaders, and join a global alumni network of over 6,000 film professionals. Travel grants and accommodation support are available for participants from lower-income countries. Berlinale Talents has launched the careers of numerous filmmakers who have gone on to win major festival prizes and produce critically acclaimed work.
