About This Scholarship

The Law School Admission Council's Diversity Matters Scholarship supports students from underrepresented racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds in gaining access to accredited law schools in the United States. The scholarship provides financial support for the LSAT preparation, law school application fees, and in some cases initial tuition costs. LSAC also operates the Diversity Pipeline Initiative, funding programmes that introduce underrepresented groups to legal education pathways from high school onwards. The programme is central to LSAC's mission of broadening access to legal education.
