The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research awards scholarships and research grants to physical therapy students, clinicians, and researchers. The Florence P. Kendall Doctoral Scholarship provides $5,000 annually to PhD students in physical therapy or related fields. The New Investigator Award funds early-career researchers in physical therapy science. The APTA also administers the Minority Scholarship Award to increase diversity in the physical therapy profession.
