Point Foundation is the nation's largest scholarship-granting organisation for LGBTQ+ students in the United States. Point Scholars receive financial support of up to $14,000 per year in addition to leadership development, networking, and mentorship from LGBTQ+ community leaders. The programme supports undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students across all academic disciplines. Selection criteria include financial need, academic merit, leadership, and demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ community service. Point Foundation has awarded over $10 million in scholarships since its founding in 2001.
