About This Scholarship
The National Federation of the Blind awards 30 scholarships annually totalling over $100,000 to outstanding blind scholars in the United States. Scholarships range from $3,000 to $12,000 and are awarded without restriction on academic field or degree level. Applicants must be legally blind and must attend the NFB Annual National Convention to receive their awards and participate in the NFB's leadership and mentorship programmes.
