About This Scholarship
Zonta International, the global organisation of professional women, awards the Amelia Earhart Fellowship annually to up to 35 women pursuing advanced degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering. The fellowship provides $10,000 per year and is open to women from any country who demonstrate a superior academic record in an accredited PhD programme. Named after the legendary aviator, the fellowship honours women who chart new frontiers in science and engineering. The programme has supported over 1,100 women from 68 countries since its founding in 1938.
