About This Scholarship
The Wellcome Trust in London is one of the world's largest health research funders. Beyond its flagship research grants (covered separately), Wellcome administers dedicated Health Equity scholarships supporting researchers from marginalised communities in the UK and globally to access senior research training. The Wellcome Early Career Award (formally the Career Development Award) provides £400,000 over 5 years for outstanding mid-career researchers. The Wellcome Institutional Strategic Support Fund supports diverse researchers at UK universities.
