The Norman E. Borlaug International Agricultural Science and Technology Fellowship Programme, funded by USDA, provides opportunities for developing country agricultural scientists, researchers, and policymakers to work with US university and research institution counterparts on challenges central to food security. Fellows receive funds for a minimum 8-week to maximum 1-year attachment at a US host institution. The programme honours the legacy of Dr. Norman Borlaug, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and father of the Green Revolution. Over 1,000 Borlaug Fellows from over 70 countries have been supported.
