Rare is a conservation organisation that uses social insights and human behaviour change to motivate communities to protect their local environment. The Rare Pride Campaign Fellowship trains local conservation leaders in developing countries to run social marketing campaigns encouraging sustainable fishing, forest conservation, or water management practices. Fellows participate in a one-year fellowship programme at Rare's partner universities and then return home to lead a Pride Campaign in their community. Over 1,500 Pride Campaigns have been conducted in 60 countries.
