About This Scholarship
The Bolashak (meaning 'future' in Kazakh) Scholarship is Kazakhstan's premier international scholarship, funding Kazakhstani citizens to study abroad at world-leading universities. Scholars are required to return to Kazakhstan after graduation and work for at least five years in Kazakhstan. The programme covers full tuition, living expenses, travel, and health insurance. It has produced over 13,000 specialists who are now leaders in Kazakhstani society, government, business, and academia.
