About This Scholarship
The Rhodes Scholarship is the world's oldest and most famous international scholarship. Rhodes Scholars are chosen on the basis of exceptional academic achievement, character, leadership, and commitment to service. The scholarship funds 2 years of study at Oxford University (with possible extension for DPhil) and covers all fees, living costs, flights, and health insurance. About 100 new scholars are selected annually from 62 jurisdictions worldwide.
