About This Scholarship
The Posse Foundation identifies public high school students with extraordinary leadership potential from diverse backgrounds who may be overlooked in the traditional college admissions process. Posse scholars are nominated by their high schools, go through a rigorous selection process, and are awarded full four-year scholarships at one of Posse's 67 partner colleges and universities. Scholars are sent in cohorts of 10 (called a Posse) to support each other through the college experience. The scholarship is valued at approximately $200,000 over four years at partner institutions.
