Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova

The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (Romanian: Academia de Studii Economice a Moldovei, often abbreviated ASEM) is a public higher education institution in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, specializing in economics and related fields. It was founded on September 25, 1991 by a government decision, evolving from economic faculties of the State University and the Institute of National Economy of the Ministry of Economy.
