Bu Ali Sina University

Bu-Ali Sina University is a public university located in the city of Hamedan, Hamedan Province, Iran. It was founded in the early 1970s with support from the government of France and named after Bu Ali Sina (also known as Avicenna), the influential Persian polymath and physician.

Bu-Ali Sina University has signed international cooperation agreements — for example, a recent educational and research partnership with NED University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi to promote student and faculty exchange and joint research projects.
