The World Islamic Sciences & Education University

The World Islamic Sciences & Education University (WISE) is a public university located in Amman, Jordan, established in 2008 through Jordanian Law No. 16/2008, published in Issue No. 4900 of the Official Gazette on April 16, 2008. The Chairman of its Board of Trustees is His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Personal Envoy and Special Adviser to His Majesty King Abdullah II. The university is owned by and falls under the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought.

The university is also the permanent seat of the Arabic Language and Nation Identity Conference, and is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

One of its most important goals is to provide the Arab and Islamic world with capable specialists in everything related to faith, Sharia, science, thought, civilisation, and Islamic arts, and to highlight the bright image of Islam.
