The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) (Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz) is one of Switzerland’s largest and most influential universities of applied sciences and arts, established in 2006 and governed jointly by the cantons of Aargau, Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt, and Solothurn.
