Academic Requirements
- Applicants with a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the RUB or another German universitycan enrol in the M.Sc. programme at thestudents registration officeduring the enrolment period by presenting their degree certificate and the certificate of the mandatory counselling interview.
- Applicants with a related or comparable (B.Sc.) degree from a German university must have their B.Sc. degree evaluated and deemed equivalent to the BSc degree in Biochemistry at the RUB before being enrolled. This evaluation is performed by the facultys Examination Board Biochemistry. Direct enrolment is not possible. For the enrolment at the students registration office the acknowledgement of equivalent academic achievements and the certificate of the counselling interview are required. In some specific cases it may be compulsory for the student to attend additional classes to make up for areas not covered in their B.Sc. degree programme.
- Applicants with a degree in Biochemistry or in a topically related (B.Sc.) degree from a foreign university must apply for admission at the universitys International Office ("Akademisches Auslandsamt").
- A counselling interview with a member of the teaching staff in Biochemistry is obligatory. The certificate for having participated in the interview must be presented at enrolment. The counselling interviews are coordinated by the examination office.
