Academic Requirements

- Professional Resume or Vita - Submit via mail or email as an attachment.
- Statement of Purpose - The statement of purpose is typically 1 - 2 pages and briefly describes your background, educational goals, research interests and why you would be a good fit in the program. May be mailed or emailed as an attachment.
- Two official transcripts from each college or university you have attended - Must be submitted in a university sealed envelope.
- Graduate Record Exam Scores (all 3 sections: verbal, quantitative and analytical)
- Three Letters of Recommendation - We recommend letters come from faculty, supervisors, etc., who can accurately speak to your skills as an engineer, scientist, researcher, student, etc.
- Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) Score - Photocopies will not be accepted. It generally takes 3 - 6 weeks for ETS to get the scores to CSU, so allow plenty of time.
