Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
The research Masters programme in Cognitive Neuroscience is highly selective. Applicants will be screened individually to ascertain whether they are eligible. An interview (in person or via Skype) may be part of the selection process. Applicants require:
1. A Bachelor\'s degree in Linguistics, Physics, Biology, Medicine, Mathematics, Behavioural Sciences, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline (no more than five years old).
2. English proficiency. Students do not require English language certification if they:
- Are a citizen of Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA, or South Africa; or
- Have a Dutch Bachelor\'s degree or VWO diploma.
All other students need one of the following certificates (which may not be older than two years):
- A TOEFL score of >=600 (paper based) or >=250 (computer based) or >=100 (internet based)
- An IELTS score of >=7.0
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a mark of C or higher
3. Demonstrable knowledge within your specialisation: for details check the programme website.
