Previous education: The Master\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s in Classics is open to all students with a Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s diploma from the UvA or the VU, or a recognised equivalent from another accredited university in:\n- Greek and Latin language and culture\n- Latin language and culture\n- Ancient Studies\nThe level of the Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s diploma from a foreign higher education institution must be equal to three years of Dutch university education (to be judged by the Examinations Board).\nProspective students with Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degrees (university) other than those mentioned above can nonetheless apply for admission to the programme. The Examinations Board will in such cases take a look at the content of the prospective student\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s Bachelor programme, his/her study results and general motivation.
