Academic Requirements

If you have completed a Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree or are enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelor\xc2\x92s programme you are eligible to apply for the Master\xc2\x92s Programme in Political Science.

Regardless of what university you are enrolled at, you can - if you meet the language requirements - apply on the basis of a Bachelor\xc2\x92s Degree that grants direct acces or another relevant Bachelor\xc2\x92s Degree.

In order to be considered for admission to the Master\'s degree programme in Political Science, applicants must have passed or anticipate to pass a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science, equaling 180 ECTS credits, including:

  • A minimum of 90 ECTS credits in political science courses, which must be general undergraduate courses
  • Minimum 15 ECTS social sciences methodology focusing on methodology as a tool
  • Proficiency in English corresponding to at least English B-level; cf. Section 11 of the Danish Ministerial Order on Admission at Universities

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
