Admission Requirements
- Completed a bachelor degree awarded by a recognised tertiary institution. Some postgraduate courses may require a completed bachelor degree in a relevant field.
- English language competence
- Some postgraduate courses may have additional entry requirements such as certain course weighted averages obtained in the bachelor and relevant work experience.
Australian & NZ students
- Entry into this course is competitive.
- You must have an honour\xc2\x92s level four-year bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university. Candidates who work in the upstream oil and gas industry (with considerable exposure to core technical areas such as drilling, production engineering and/or reservoir engineering) may be considered with degrees in other relevant science disciplines on a case-by-case basis.
- If you successfully complete a Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin you may apply to enter the Master of Petroleum Engineering course. You will be eligible to receive credit for recognised learning for all the units successfully completed as a part of the diploma. If you successfully complete a Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Curtin with a minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 65%; and score no less than 65% in core areas, you may also apply to enter this course.
