Course Structure

  1. [\'Foundation semester\ During the first semester (winter semester), the students attend compulsory courses covering the basic principles of European Integration in the areas of law, economics and politics. All courses will be held in English. A variety of elective courses round off the semester, which is closed with an oral exam\', \'A one-week\ study trip\ to Brussels and Luxembourg, where the students are offered the opportunity to visit EU institutions\', \'An\ internship\ lasting between 8 and 12 weeks\', \'Advanced semester\ The second semester consists of block seminars designed to deepen the knowledge acquired during the first semester and its practical application. Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree.

  • The DSH - or German Language University Entrance Exam for Foreign Students - is obligatory for all applicants whose first language is not German and who have earned their initial degree from a university (or equivalent institution) where the language of instruction is not German.

  • In addition to the admission requirements a letter of motivation, English language skills and a potential interview will be considered.
