Academic Requirements

The Master\xc2\x92s programme European Studies:\xc2\xa0European Policy is open for application to students with a Bachelor\xc2\x92s diploma from the UvA, or a recognised equivalent from another accredited university, in:

  • European Studies

The programme is also open for enrolment to students with a related (university) Bachelor\xc2\x92s diploma in the:

  • Humanities
  • Social Sciences
  • Economics
  • Law

In these cases students should have demonstrable knowledge of European integration or International Relations, in specific the institutional dimensions and policy making. This requirement is met with the UvA minor programmes European Economics and European Law or with at least 30 ECTS in European integration or International Relations.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
