Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Admission to the Professional Master\xc2\x92s in Manufacturing Leadership program is primarily based on an applicant\xc2\x92s professional experience, prior education, and capabilities the student can bring to the classroom.

Please be sure to fulfill the following requirements and gather the items below before beginning the application process:
  • A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in engineering or physical sciences from an accredited college or university with a GPA of at least 3.0
  • At least one year of professional work experience (post-Bachelor of Science) in an engineering- or science-related field
  • A completed application along with application fee
  • Three descriptive letters of recommendation. We expect to receive letters from the applicant\xc2\x92s past and current supervisors who can describe in writing why the individual should be considered, in terms of skills and capabilities
  • A required essay/statement of purpose (no more than one page). The essay/statement of purpose should include: why the applicant should be considered, what experience the applicant can bring to the program, and what the applicant expects to take away from the program to enhance his or her professional career
  • A resume (including work and educational experience)
  • An official transcript sent from each accredited school from which the candidate has received a degree
  • A satisfactory TOEFL score for international students
  • GMAT/GRE scores are NOT required
