Program Overview
The programme of studies aims to provide you with the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge in the Audiology field, that addresses current literature and evidence-based practice. The course includes a substantial element of clinical practicum. On successful completion of this programme of studies you will be awarded the degree M.Sc. (Audiology), a qualification analogous to that in other European teaching institutions. Career Opportunities
There is a crucial need within the Department of Health, Malta, for audiological support related to the assessment and diagnosis of hearing impairment and related disorders. Over recent years, this need has become more discerning due to increasing awareness and push for early identification of hearing impairment and consequent rehabilitation.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of: Refer to the list of country-specific qualifications The Course shall be open to applicants in possession of: a Bachelor's degree obtained with at least Second Class Honours in an area of study deemed suitable by the Board or a degree from this or another university which the Board considers as comparable to the degree indicated in paragraph (a). Applicants may be required to provide evidence of being in possession of the licence to practice in the register of the profession concerned, as kept by the relevant regulatory council. Applicants may be required to provide evidence of work experience following registration with the relevant regulatory council in the proposed area of study or area of specialisation, if applicable. The minimum number of years of experience required shall be indicated at the time of the call for applications. Notes and any other requirements The maximum number of students that can be admitted into the course is 10 students. The selection criteria is available here . During the first year of the Course, accepted students may be required to undergo an occupational health assessment so as to ascertain that they are fit for the duties related to their proposed studies. Students who do not fulfil this requirement may be barred from progressing with their studies.
