Academic Requirements
An undergraduate major in Materials Scienceand Engineering, most engineering disciplines (e.g. Chemical, Electrical,or Mechanical Engineering), Physics, Applied Physicsor Chemistry, or Applied Scienceis typical for Materials Science and Engineering graduate students, but is not required. The minimal background for entrance into the master\xc2\x92s of science program is a bachelor\'s degree with 3.0 overall grade-point average.
Applicants must submit an online Office of Graduate Studies application, GRE scores, a personal history statement and statement of purpose, and 3 letters of recommendation.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
