Academic Requirements

learn about all a-state has to offer while visiting campus! we have a great team of student chancellor\'s ambassadors who love showing future students around the place they call home. to schedule a campus visit, click the link below and select the type of tour, date, and time that works best for you.2. complete an application for admission
please complete an online admissions application. you will be taken to our self-service site. choose "apply for admission" and then create your own unique login and password. be sure to write down your login and password. this will allow you to log in at any time and check your application status. once your application has been processed, you will receive an email detailing the procedure for obtaining an a-state id and pin, and directions for checking admission status.3. submit a $15 non-refundable application fee
you can pay online when completing your online application.4. request official transcripts
once you\'ve applied, have your high school send us your transcript. also, if you\'ve taken any concurrent enrollment college courses, have those official transcripts sent as well.5. send official test scores
official act scores, sat scores, asset or compass scores mailed directly to the university from the testing institution or the high school. test scores are only valid five years from date of exam.6. submit two mmr (mumps, rubella & rubeola/measles) records
7. apply for financial aid

your admissions application is also your application for institutional scholarships. there is a separate application process for our privately funded scholarships. one private scholarship application covers all of the scholarships for which you may be qualified.9. apply for housing
asu offers a variety of housing options for transfer students. unless you are living at home with a guardian, you are required to live on campus. you can also get more information regarding rates, residence halls and amenities at their website. there are limited spaces available. make sure you apply early, because assignments are made on a first come, first served basis.10. attend new student registration
