You will need an Honours degree in a subject such as Health and Social Care, Nursing, Psychology or a more general, yet related, discipline. You will also need a counselling skills level 2 award or the ability to demonstrate basic counselling skills which may have been gained from relevant work or experience. Some applicants come from teaching and may have worked in support roles or social care.

Selection is by individual interview where we will assess your professional interest in the subject and your ability to study autonomously and to manage your own time, and cope with the intellectual and academic rigour of the course.
