Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- A foundational ethics course that focuses on ethical issues in the work environment (3 credit hours).
- Concentration courses that provide both theoretical framework and practical application within the industry (24 credit hours). Courses will cover real estate development, finance and value analysis, appraisal and markets, along with project management and law/contract negotiation.
- A capstone course in which students collaborate with an industry sponsor and faculty advisor to complete a project in one of three areas: critical problem solving, contribution to industry practice or a field experience (3 credit hours).

You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
To be admitted to UIndy\'s Real Estate Development program, you must complete or submit the following:

- Non-refundable $50 application fee
- Bachelor\'s degree or higher (any discipline) from an accredited college or university
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Original transcripts from each college or university previously attended
