A previous bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in political science is not necessary.Application Materials and Requirements

Applicants are asked to submit the following with their online application form (all documents must be in original and sent from their source):

  • \xc2\xb7 Copy of bachelor\xc2\x92s degree diploma
  • \xc2\xb7 Official transcripts from all higher education institutions you have attended

o General GPA requirement of 80 on a scale of 100, 3.0 on a scale of 4.0, or C on the ECTS scale. These are approximate and candidates with other strengths are also encouraged to apply.o If your transcripts are not written in English, you will need to acquire a translated copy which will need to be notarized for authenticity.

  • \xc2\xb7 Two letters of recommendation, from academic and/or professional sources
  • \xc2\xb7 Personal essay

This personal essay must be up to three pages in length, and should include your interest in pursuing the M.A. Program in Political Science; how the program fits into your overall professional growth; and how you will contribute to the program and class dynamics.

\xc2\xb7 Resume/CV

\xc2\xb7 Your TOEFL or IELTS exam scores, if your native language is not English or your previous academic degree was not taught in English.

o Minimum TOEFL requirements: 573 on the paper based test; 230 on the computer based test; and 89 on the internet based test. The University\'s Code is 7704.

o Minimum IELTS requirements: Overall Band Score of 7.0.

\xc2\xb7 $100 USD application fee, payable by credit card or bank transfer.

\xc2\xb7 One passport sized photo

\xc2\xb7 A Health Declaration (to be filled out by the applicant) and a Medical Form (to be filled out by a licensed doctor). Medical form is not mandatory while an applicant\'s file is marked as \'Under Review,\' but is highly suggested to be sent in as soon as possible.

English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
