The African Forest Forum is a pan-African association of individuals and institutions committed to sustainable management of Africa's forest and tree resources. AFF administers small research grants of $5,000-$20,000 for African researchers studying forest ecology, agroforestry, forest policy, and community forestry management. The programme particularly supports research on African indigenous forest species, dryland forest management, and forest-agriculture interfaces in smallholder systems. AFF fellows publish in CIFOR and AFF journals and present at African forestry conferences.
