About This Scholarship

Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, founded by naturalist Gerald Durrell, trains conservation professionals through the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Academy on the island of Jersey. The Academy offers intensive postgraduate diplomas in endangered species management, zoo biology, and conservation leadership. Fellowships are available for conservation practitioners from range countries (countries where threatened species are found) to access training at the Durrell programme. Durrell's unique emphasis on captive breeding for species recovery and conservation programme management prepares fellows for leadership in endangered species conservation globally.
