The International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi and Addis Ababa offers research fellowships for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working on livestock production systems, animal genetics, and livestock-related human health issues in developing countries. ILRI collaborative PhD and MSc fellowships are jointly supervised by ILRI scientists and partner university faculty. Research areas include trypanotolerance in African cattle, milk production in East Africa, zoonotic disease control, and the roles of livestock in smallholder livelihoods.
