About This Scholarship

IUFRO is the global organisation for forest science, and its Young Scientists Initiative supports early-career forest scientists through networking, mentoring, and research grants. The IUFRO-SPDC Special Programme for Developing Countries provides grants and fellowship placements for forest scientists from developing countries to conduct research at partner institutions. The YSI Travel Grants support early-career researchers to attend IUFRO's World Congress and divisional conferences. IUFRO represents over 15,000 scientists from 700+ organisations in 110 countries.
