About This Scholarship

The American Association of Neurological Surgeons administers an International Fellowship in Neurological Surgery supporting neurosurgeons from developing countries to train at major US neurosurgical centres. The fellowship provides a living stipend and covers the costs of a 3-12 month clinical rotation at a partner institution. Recipients gain exposure to advanced neurosurgical techniques including minimally invasive spine surgery, brain tumour surgery, and endovascular neurology. The programme strengthens neurosurgical capacity in lower-resourced settings and builds durable partnerships between US and international neurosurgeons.
