The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists administers international scholarships supporting obstetricians and gynaecologists from low and middle-income countries to undertake advanced training in the United Kingdom. The International Development Scholarship covers a 3-6 month supervised clinical placement, travel, accommodation, and a living allowance. Priority is given to candidates from countries with high maternal mortality rates who plan to return and apply their skills at home.
