Entry Requirements

  • A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from a university, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic bachelor\xc2\x92s degree, with a particular focus on Egyptology
  • Detailed knowledge of at least one of the following:
  • the grammar of the most important phases of the Egyptian language, of the relevant scripts and of the historical development of the language and scripts;
  • the archaeology, the material culture and art history of the region involved;
  • the cultural history of the region involved, including its literature, its religion, and its social structure.
  • A good command of English as demonstrated by IELTS 7.0, TOEFL100 (internet-based), or CPE (A, B or C) evidenced by an appropriate test.\xc2\xa0
