Library Services (CoCon): VIVES has transformed its libraries into CoCon, central hubs for meeting, inspiration, creativity, knowledge development, and sharing. Students and staff have access to a vast collection of (e-)books, databases, games, educational materials, (e-)journals, and multimedia resources. The Limo catalog allows users to search for articles, books, movies, and dissertations, both in print and online. By logging in with your VIVES credentials, you can access these resources from anywhere. 

Academic Software: VIVES partners with Signpost to provide students with essential software packages at reduced costs. The standard package includes Office 365 (online and local installation), OneDrive storage, McAfee Antivirus, LinkedIn Learning, Alinea reading software, and SPSS for statistical analysis. An annual subscription to Academic Software is mandatory for all students, costing €42.61 for the academic year 2024-2025.

1. Scholarships:

  • Full Scholarship (Article 57, §1):

    • Eligibility:
      • Recipients of a full scholarship from the Flemish government for the academic year 2023-2024.
      • Students who meet the financial and nationality requirements imposed by the university (EEA citizens) but do not receive a full scholarship from the Flemish government.
    • Tuition Fee: €131.50 for 60 credits.
  • Partial Scholarship (Article 57, §1):

    • Eligibility:
      • Students whose family income does not exceed €3,768.
      • Students meeting the Flemish government's scholarship conditions, except for the rateable value of their house being too high, and who meet the necessary nationality conditions (EEA citizens).
    • Tuition Fee: €588.00 for 60 credits.
  • No Scholarship (Article 57, §1):

    • Eligibility: Students who do not fall into the above categories but meet the nationality conditions (EEA citizens).
